Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Obtain and analyze patient medical histories and relevant information to tailor ultrasound procedures to individual needs.
  • Utilize advanced imaging technologies to capture detailed images of organs, tissues, and blood flow, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • An associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program is essential.
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or imaging center setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in various ultrasound modalities such as abdominal, obstetric, and vascular sonography is crucial.
