Job overview: The Spa Attendant has overall responsibility for monitoring and cleaning the spa to include but not limited to, reception area, waiting areas, treatment rooms, storage rooms and prep areas. Incumbent must utilize available resources to provide excellent guest satisfaction. The Spa Attendant will meet or exceed productivity and cleanliness standards, taking corrective action as needed to ensure standards are maintained. Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs, and may include weekends and holidays .
Duties and Responsibilities
FINANCIAL RETURNS
Thoroughly clean all assigned areas within prescribed standard guidelines.
Properly and safely use authorized cleaning agents.
Maintain the inventory of all items placed in the spa.
Keep all areas of the spa including storage areas clean and organized.
Assisting members and guests with towels, robes and lockers.
Greet all the guests and members warmly and provide courteous assistance.
Responsible for maintaining equipment and storage area for linen, closet and locker areas.
Keeping complete supervision over all lockers and maintain the functionality at all times.
Keep and maintain a register for the names of all guests who enter the Spa Aquatonic Pool area and guest that use the steam and sauna rooms.
Folding of towels and storing neatly.
Sending the dirty linen to the laundry and also receiving the fresh linen from laundry and distributing these throughout the Spa.
Preparation of green tea and ginger tea for the guests.
Show around for guests in the dressing rooms.
Report any damaged or missing items or maintenance repair needs to management.
Helps ensure facility is only accessed by actual guests and that it is safe and secure at all times
Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.
Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
Co-operate with the company to achieve compliance with FLS legislation
Take moral and legal responsibility for conducting themselves in their work so they do not expose themselves or others to risk
Read, understand, and implement the relevant sections of the FLS Policy
Sign the Employees' Declaration having read and understood the relevant sections of the FLS Policy
Not promote or participate in horseplay, pranks, or practical jokes, which may result in an accident or injury
Not intentionally or recklessly interfering with anything provided in the interests of safety
Make careful use of safety equipment, such as gloves, goggles, aprons,
Return safety equipment to its designated storage area after use, and reporting any equipment damage to the supervisor
Take reasonable care when storing, handling, and using chemicals and dangerous substances, lifting and carrying, and using or cleaning dangerous work equipment, including machine
Not undertake any activity which compromises their personal FLS, or the FLS of others
Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, or hazards, no matter how minor, to the supervisor or Heads of Department.

Regularly present at, take part in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
Take pleasure in working with people and have a welcoming and outgoing personality GUEST EXPERIENCE
Handle guests' queries and concerns efficiently and politely
Provide exact, suitable and instant responses to all requests by guests RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
Provide consistent professional treatments compliant with spa protocols and accepted documentation practices
Uphold the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures
Possess the aptitude to work with no direct supervision
Perform prep work, correctly clean and restock room as necessary
Communicate to administration any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that need concentration
Converse to management any and all occurrences connecting staff or guests in the spa that require notice
Efficiently inform and teach guests concerning specific wellness concerns
Be available and willing to adjust his/her work schedule according to the needs of the spa
Properly care for tools and use proper amounts of manufactured goods to assist with cost controls ACCOUNTABILITY
To keep the highest standard of service and cleanliness within the assigned spa areas at all times. To take the initiative when needed to complete the tasks that is assigned in an orderly manner, as per the standards of the hotel spa
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Previous hotel experience/hospitality/guest service oriented behaviour
Extremely detail-oriented
Possess excellent communication skills
Friendly, people-oriented, customer driven individual
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
High school diploma or equivalent education required
Well-groomed, neat and tidy at all times.
Maintain the Standard, Quality of Service during the tenure with the hotel.
Responsible, dedicated, attain a Sense of Ownership towards serving guests and giving a great experience to the guests coming to the hotel .
