Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of spare parts, from procurement to disposal, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing obsolescence.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers, focusing on cost-effectiveness and establishing strong, collaborative relationships.
- Analyze demand forecasts and usage patterns to proactively order parts, preventing stockouts and ensuring timely availability.
- Manage the spares inventory efficiently, including storage, organization, and regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to understand their needs, providing technical support and ensuring prompt part availability for repairs.
- Continuously improve spares management processes, seeking opportunities to streamline operations and enhance overall performance.
