The Specialist/Consultant – Internal Medicine is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. The role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital standards

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical care to adult patients.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disorders, cardiovascular conditions, and infectious diseases.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Perform medical procedures within the scope of Internal Medicine practice.

• Provide consultation services to other departments when required.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.

• Supervise junior medical staff (for Consultant level).

• Maintain ethical and professional standards in line with UAE healthcare regulations.
