Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately assess and diagnose a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, from common refractive errors to complex diseases.
  • Perform intricate surgical procedures, including cataract extraction, glaucoma surgeries, and corneal transplants, ensuring precision and adhering to the highest standards of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, considering each patient's unique needs and medical history, to optimize visual outcomes and improve quality of life.
  • Manage and treat patients with diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and other sight-threatening conditions, employing cutting-edge therapies and monitoring disease progression.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a medical degree (MBBS) and a specialization in Ophthalmology (MS/MD) from a recognized institution, demonstrating a strong academic foundation..

  • Certified by the relevant ophthalmology boards, showcasing a commitment to maintaining professional standards and staying current with best practices.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Specialist Ophthalmologist, demonstrating a proven track record of clinical expertise and surgical proficiency.
