Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conducting physical examinations of infants, children, and adolescents

  • Diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses, such as asthma, allergies, and infections
  • Monitoring the growth and development of children and providing advice to parents on nutrition, immunizations, and
  • developmental milestones
  • Diagnosing and treating developmental disorders, such as autism and ADHD
  • Referring children to specialists for further evaluation and treatment when necessary
  • Providing counseling and support to parents on topics such as child behavior, discipline, and safety
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, social workers, and therapists, to provide comprehensive
  • care to children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
  • Staying current on the latest research and medical treatments in pediatrics through continuing education and attending
  • conferences.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology,

Experience Minimum 3 years experience post Board Qualification

Certification and Licensure Valid DOH License

Job Specific Knowledge and Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex Otolaryngology conditions accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions during emergencies. Commitment to patient safety, compassionate care, and ethical medical practices.
