Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and interstitial lung disease
  • Manage patients in ICU settings with respiratory failure or complex pulmonary condition
  • Prescribe medications and therapies to improve respiratory health
  • Provide consultations to other departments and respond to inpatient referrals
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and lifestyle modification
  • Participate in hospital rounds, morbidity & mortality meetings, and peer review
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in pulmonary medicine
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution / Board certification or equivalent in Pulmonology
  • Should have DHA Eligibility letter / MOH Evaluation or license
  • Minimum 4-5 years of clinical experience post-certification
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
