The Specialist, Well Testing, plays a pivotal role in the oil and gas industry by executing and overseeing well testing operations to ensure the efficient extraction of hydrocarbons. Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive well testing programs tailored to site-specific conditions.

• Collaborate with reservoir engineers to integrate well test data into reservoir models.
• Conduct root cause analysis on testing anomalies and propose corrective actions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in well testing practices.
• Mentor and train junior staff on well testing procedures and best practices.
• Manage budget and resources efficiently to maximize testing program outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in well testing operations and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in using well testing equipment and analytical software.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions quickly.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and collaboration.
• Demonstrated understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in oil and gas.
• Ability to work in remote and challenging environments with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record of optimizing well testing procedures and increasing efficiency.
