Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Therapist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address each patient s specific needs.
  • Conduct therapy sessions targeting speech disorders, language impairments, and dysphagia.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and inform them about potential treatment options.
  • Maintain thorough patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to provide high-quality clinical interventions and therapies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies.
  • Stay updated on new research and advancements in speech-language pathology and therapy.
  • Advocate for patients needs and referrals to appropriate specialist services when necessary.
  • Organize and conduct workshops and support groups for patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintain professional and ethical standards.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid license to practice as a Speech Language Therapist.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders.
  • Strong understanding of communication disorders and therapeutic intervention strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary for patient counseling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes.
