Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on functional communication skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support patients’ overall development.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques for at-home practice.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is a must.
  • DOH License
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical work experience, preferably in a variety of settings such as schools, hospitals, or private practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and adapt treatment strategies.
