Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple subsidiary entities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Monitor, review, and reconcile intercompany transactions, purchase orders, sales orders, and related balances across all subsidiary companies.

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities for subsidiary accounts, ensuring timely preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments while maintaining the integrity of subsidiary general ledgers.

  • Perform detailed analysis of subsidiary financial performance, including variance analysis, profitability reporting, and identification of operational and financial trends.

  • Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts.

  • Ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of subsidiary financial results to group management and support group reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure proper recording and reconciliation of inventory, purchasing, and distribution-related transactions.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis for subsidiary entities.

  • Review and strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and financial procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across subsidiary operations.

  • Assist with external audits, tax filings, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements for subsidiary companies.

  • Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to maintain accurate financial records, generate management reports, and support business decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including significant exposure to financial reporting, general ledger management, subsidiary accounting, and month-end/year-end close processes.

  • Proven experience managing the accounts of multiple entities or subsidiaries within a group structure, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting.

  • Prior experience in distribution, trading, FMCG, manufacturing, or other inventory-intensive industries is strongly preferred.
