Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reviewing press materials — including articles, written content, photographs, and correspondences — ensuring they are well-written, accurate, reliable, and produced in a clear, high-quality manner.
  • Verifying the accuracy of press materials, their information, and their compatibility with professional ethics and the organization’s policies, and determining the extent to which they fall within assigned responsibilities.
  • Ensuring that press materials are delivered safely and appropriately, that their content aligns with professional standards, and that images are updated, accurate, and relevant.
  • Ensuring the quality of media materials through proofreading, editing, clarifying, and correcting them, and ensuring that they are free from errors, appropriate, and compliant with editorial rules.
  • Coordinating with editors and correspondents to ensure consistency of texts with the subject matter, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Has a minimum of 7 years of experience in editing, preferably within the culture and entertainment sector.
  • Demonstrates exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of cultural trends, entertainment, and media landscapes.
  • Displays a passion for storytelling and a commitment to producing high-quality content.
