Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement comprehensive HSE programs, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and drive a proactive safety culture within the organization.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses across all operational areas, identifying potential dangers and developing effective mitigation strategies to prevent incidents.
  • Monitor and evaluate HSE performance through regular inspections, audits, and data analysis, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Oversee the selection and management of HSE equipment and resources, ensuring they are fit for purpose and well-maintained.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and promote employee engagement in HSE initiatives, encouraging active participation in safety programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HSE regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends, proactively updating programs and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and management, to integrate HSE into all aspects of the business.
  • Manage and maintain HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, permits, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and maintain detailed records.
  • Develop and deliver engaging HSE training programs tailored to specific job roles and operational needs, ensuring all employees are competent and aware of safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HSE roles, with a focus on [Industry Specific Experience, e.g., construction, oil & gas, manufacturing].
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HSE programs and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO .
