Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking Supply Chain team as the Senior Manager Category Management Electronics. This strategic role is pivotal in shaping and executing the strategy for electronics and printed circuit boards, driving value creation, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience. You will forge long-term supplier partnerships and collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement with business goals
What You Will Do:
Commodity Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement a robust commodity strategy that delivers cost savings, mitigates risk, and supports business growth.
  • Analyze global market trends, supplier landscapes, and economic indicators to inform strategic decisions.
  • Translate strategic plans into operational outcomes with measurable impact.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Supply Chain professionals across strategic sourcing and P2P processes.
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support broader business initiatives led by the Commodity Director.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
  • Oversee end-to-end sourcing: supplier selection, RFx, contract negotiation, and framework agreements.
  • Align procurement activities with program milestones and customer commitments.
  • Implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools: scorecards, performance reviews, QBRs, and resilience plans.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong partnerships with Engineering, Finance, Facilities, and Operations to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and drive change across the organization.
  • Collaborate with SCM Program Managers to monitor procurement performance and socialize results within IPTs.
Performance & Risk Management
  • Define and track KPIs to measure commodity strategy effectiveness and team performance.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on achievements, risks, and improvement areas.
  • Proactively manage supply chain risks using Kraljic methods and supplier risk registers.
What You Need To Have:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
  • Having an engineering degree is preferred
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) preferred.
  • 10+ years in senior procurement roles with a focus on strategic sourcing and commodity management.
  • Aerospace/Defense industry experience highly desirable.
  • Proven success in Electronics and PCB environments.
  • Strong grasp of Export Control (EAR), INCOTERMS, and international logistics.
  • Expertise in contract law, negotiation strategies, and supplier engagement.
  • Proficiency in SAP and SAP Ariba; MRP and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
