What This Job is About:
RedPeg Marketing is looking for a dynamic Sr. Account Manager; with extensive events management, experiential marketing, public relations, and communications experience to join our team of creative marketers and manage the development of integrated large-scale experiential marketing campaigns including B2B, B2C, product launches, industry, and media/PR events. This individual is responsible for working closely with the Senior Director of Client Services, VPs of Client Services, and internal RedPeg Marketing departmental teams to lead the development and execution for client brand marketing initiatives.
Client Relationship and Account Management
• Work closely with agency and client cross-functional teams, such as PR, marketing/communications, business development, and executive team, to determine and deliver upon client goals for industry events, tradeshows, consumer events (press and trade functions within these events), influencer experiences, private media events, internal corporate/employee experiences, and other brand building initiatives
• Proactively communicates with clients to provide daily/weekly campaign updates, schedules, and contact reports
• Clearly articulates client perspective and needs while effectively marshaling internal resources
Project Management
• Develop industry/corporate plan and calendar through 2020 to address client goals, while remaining flexible to identify and execute upon emerging opportunities
• Creates and manages campaign timelines, budget allocations and client expectations with direction from Director
• Vendor management in coordination with RedPeg Operations team including show services (A/V, rigging, IT), construction, labor, design, and
• Manage hotel and F&B vendor relationships
• Identifies potential threats and proactively outlines necessary solutions
Business Development
• Identify and create new opportunities for client growth that meets their marketing and business goals and objectives
Financial Management
• Identify and leverage opportunities to drive program cost efficiencies for client and agency
• Responsible for budget stewardship, program profitability, and end of program budget reconciliations
What You re All About:
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in experiential marketing, events, media/PR
• Bachelor s Degree in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations or related field
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Mac experience preferred)
• Excellent writing, copy/editing skills and general communications skills
• High level of detail-orientation
• Ability to work on a team in highly collaborative environment
• Willing to travel up to 10-25% on a U.S. domestic and international basis
