Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Supervise and monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure mechanical works are executed according to project timelines, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Prepare material submittals, method statements, and technical reports for client/consultant approval.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with standards and codes.
- Manage site teams and subcontractors to achieve smooth execution of mechanical works.
- Provide technical support and advice during construction phases.
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Any National can apply
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in high-rise building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and building services.
- Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
