Sr. MEP Maintenance Engineer- Swimming pools Belhasa Projects LLC

Job Purpose:

responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to swimming pools, water features, irrigation systems, and landscape facilities. The role ensures that all systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

Irrigation System Operation & Maintenance

- Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of irrigation systems for various landscaped sites.

- Inspect irrigation networks, valves, pumps, controllers, and pipelines to ensure proper functioning.

- Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, pressure issues, and electrical faults in irrigation systems.

- Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules based on weather, plant needs, and water availability.

Technical Supervision & Site Coordination

- Supervise irrigation technicians and maintenance staff during field operations.

- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager, Landscape Engineers, and Supervisors to schedule maintenance and repair works.

- Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as per approved schedules to minimize system downtime.

- Review and approve site work completion reports for accuracy and quality.

System Design & Optimization

- Analyze system efficiency and recommend improvements or redesigns where necessary.

- Modify existing irrigation layouts to meet changing site conditions or landscape upgrades.

- Implement water-saving technologies such as smart controllers, moisture sensors, and drip irrigation systems.

- Ensure proper hydraulic balance, water distribution uniformity, and system performance efficiency.

Water Management & Sustainability

- Manage water consumption and monitor usage to ensure sustainable irrigation practices.

- Calibrate systems for optimal pressure and flow rate to minimize waste.

- Coordinate with authorities or clients for water meter readings and compliance reporting.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and system performance data.

- Prepare technical reports and maintenance logs for submission to the Maintenance Manager.

- Support in preparing quotations, material submittals, and project closeout documentation when needed.

Health, Safety & Quality Control

- Ensure all irrigation works comply with company safety standards and environmental guidelines.

- Enforce the use of proper PPE and safe working procedures on-site.

- Inspect completed works to confirm compliance with quality and technical standards.
