They offer hundreds of millions of unique products providing a broad and diverse inventory of products from Books, Electronics and Apparel to Consumables and beyond.
With the acquisition of Souq and its affiliated businesses, Amazon is rapidly expanding its presence in the Middle East and North Africa. Accordingly, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to scale our Selling Partner tools for Amazon, based in Dubai, UAE.
As Sr. Product Manager, MENA- you will join a dynamic team responsible for developing and delivering initiatives on the Selling Partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for existing features for Selling Partners for 3 Amazon marketplaces (AE, SA and EG) on both Amazon and Souq technology stack
2. Benchmark product feature set vs US, EU and India teams to adapt their features, tailoring as needed for MENA, and partner with them for collective innovation
3. Write product requirement documents, FAQs, Press Releases and get stakeholder alignment. Drive product requirements to overcome regional challenges in scaling selection, and provide great customer experience when buying from international sellers (such as enabling Cash on Delivery for customers buying from international sellers)
4. Drive product requirements to scale the adoption of Fulfillment by Amazon program which benefits both Selling Partners and Customers
5. Define the Arabic seller experience for the product features
6. Automate manual processes in the business teams and reduce cost
7. Partner with Operations, Selling Partner Support, and Customer Support teams to support new product launches in MENA
8. Continuously improve buyer trust in our business by launching initiatives to prevent bad actors from selling on Amazon
9. Lead execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the development teams. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.
10. Own weekly and monthly reporting on product features that you own. Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns
11. Drive adoption growth of rolled out solutions, assess open opportunities to further enhance Seller Experience and remove friction points.
12. Measure Improvements and impact of changes (such as A/B testing) and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives
13. Manage engagement with multiple stakeholders in US, Europe, India and other Amazon offices including Tax, Legal, Operations, Tech, Seller Services and FBA.

Desired Candidate Profile


- MBA from a leading business school
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Prior experience managing technical products or online services
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Basic Knowledge of SQL and willingness to learn
- Professional traits that are not unique to this position, but necessary for Amazon leaders:
o Is a great people manager that understands to further build, develop and motivate a great team;
o Is highly analytical and structured;
o Thinks strategically and long term, but can also dive deep and stays on top of tactical execution;
o Moves at high speed, and displays a strong bias for action;
o Exhibits excellent business judgment;
o Create an environment where innovative drive is fostered;
o Is a superb communicator, at ease sitting down with top level executives, peers from other teams and regions;
o Has relentlessly high standards;
o Is action and results oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in Marketplace-related roles
- Advanced Knowledge of SQL
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
- History of developing product strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
- Arabic language proficiency
- Meets/exceeds Amazon s leadership principles requirements for this role
