The jobholder is responsible to receive store
record, issue and handle spare parts, lubricant, tires and others for PMV
workshop and to ensure the optimal utilization of resources, efficiency of
organization of the store and the safety of activities.
Principal Accountabilities
Receives and
store spare parts, lubricant, tires and other material in the PMV main store
and monitor stock level to ensure sufficient availability of material.
Perform stock
taking duties in order to keep record of the stock/inventory levels and note
order requirements
Monitor the
stock of spare parts available and consult with inventory records to ensure
the accommodation of the spare parts need of the PMV workshop.
Recorders
material to maintain adequate level to maintenance activities and ensures
competitive prices are attained.
Records the stock levels for spares,
lubricants, and tires and updates database for each resource category to
ensure effective maintenance planning and minimize delays.
Operates forklifts (and other hydraulic
handling equipment) to move materials to and from the store.
Ensures the safe operation of a variety of
vehicles and material handling equipment. Machine, workforce, inventory etc.
Maintains contents of tool storage and
ensures all tools used for maintenance and repairs are in proper condition
and are functioning effectively, to minimize the potential for damage caused
by defective tools.
Maintains organization of the store and
ensures all materials are placed in the appropriate areas in order to
facilitate location and use of materials.
Undertakes the proper packaging of
delicate/fragile parts prior to shipping them or transferring them to the
workshop
Monitors the quality of materials and
reports any issues to the Service Engineers
Ensures store is always clean and neat to
maintain organization, safety, and efficiency of activities.
Guarantees the health and safety of all
in-store activities, such as moving or handling materials/equipment, and
observes all health & safety procedures as delineated by CFC top
management.
Follows procedures of reporting on
performance, budgets and other reports required from time to time to the
Service Engineer.
Communications and Working
Relationships
Communicate with Plant Project Manager/
Supervisor/ Foreman
Communicate effectively and work with multi
disciplines personnel
interact with other PMV sections
Interact and communicate with project crew
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Minimum of 5 years work experience as a spare
parts store clerk in a reputable company
Associate Degree in automotive Technology
(2 years college) / high school Graduate/ Vocational automotive institute.
Fluent in English and preferably Arabic
language
Excellent thinking and problem-solving
ability
PC literate Computer skills is a must
Organizational Skills
Familiar with PMV operational procedures
and systems
