M.Sc. in chemistry, environmental engineering, Biochemistry, hydraulics or closely related field
10 years of experience in water quality systems (relevant field) and application
Previous experience in water utility
Previous experience in relevant work in AD/UAE/Gulf
Experience in water quality modeling for pipelines and transmission systems
Knowledge into enhancing, maintaining and coordinating Water Quality monitoring programs for transmission companies
Experience in collation, summarization, and evaluation of statistical Water Quality data
Competent in site visits and field sampling.
Skills in developing, calibration and maintenance of dynamic WAQ models
Clear understanding of international and regional regulations, requirements, and capability to inform creation of overall water quality indexes.
Competent in understanding outlines, plans and layouts of water quality schemes, structures, and equipment
Competent in budgeting, preparing business cases, managing people and complex projects
Understanding of asset performance, asset physical inspection, scaling/corrosion potential of network assets and reporting of these items
Graduate degree in a closely related field
Programming and debugging skills (MATLAB, VB/VBA, FORTRAN)
Familiarity with GIS tools (ESRI products)
