Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly weld stainless steel components using TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), or SMAW processes, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic perfection.
  • Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to accurately fabricate and assemble stainless steel structures.
  • Prepare weld joints by cleaning, grinding, and aligning materials, meticulously adhering to specified weld procedures and standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of welds, utilizing visual, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to identify and rectify any defects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualifications: Completion of a recognized welding apprenticeship program or trade school.
  • Certifications: AWS (American Welding Society) certification in relevant welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, SMAW) is highly desirable.
  • Industry of Work Experience: Experience in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries is preferred.
