Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage retinal diseases including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and macular degeneration.
  • Perform vitreoretinal surgeries and intravitreal injections as per privileges.
  • Conduct outpatient clinics and provide pre- and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with endocrinology and primary care teams for diabetic eye programs.
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship or subspecialty training in Vitreoretinal Surgery.
  • Board certification or recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 5 years relevant experience.
  • DOH license or eligibility.
