You will take ownership of one of these platforms, dedicating the majority of your time to building its most technically demanding components with a compact team (3-5 experienced engineers, no junior contributors).

The architectural choices you make dictate whether other teams can build new applications rapidly, integrate seamlessly, and deliver value to students. Strong decisions unlock exponential leverage. Poor ones spawn integration chaos and erode velocity across the organization.

You design, build, and operate your systems end-to-end. You define quality standards and technical patterns for your platform. Our development process is specification-first: design precedes implementation, and planning comes before building. You will work with high autonomy, free from committee governance or review board overhead. This is a small, tightly coordinated team where accountability for what you deliver rests with you.

What You Will Be Doing

Technical Leadership: Drive strategic architectural choices and define technical patterns for the team to adopt.

AI Leadership: Champion the integration of emerging AI workflows and develop high-impact implementation playbooks.

Implementation: Construct the complex, mission-critical components of the codebase working directly with your team.

Quality Reviews: Verify that your team adheres to established patterns and upholds quality benchmarks.
