The purpose of this role is supervise a team of Station Agents to deliver world class customer service and to provide a safe, reliable station environment to all passengers of Riyadh Metro and act as the custodian of the station premises.
• Supervise a team of station agents
• Deliver beginning of shift briefings and ensure all staff have reported for work
• Hold end of shift briefings and ensure the station is handed over to the next Station Supervisor at close of shift
• Provide feedback to Station Agents and handle investigations relating to time, attendance and performance
• Monitor and maintain the operational status within stations
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers moving within the station premises
• Meet and greet customers and provide a highly visible and proactive level of customer service
• Responsible for controlling passenger flow in stations and avoiding overcrowding in both stations and on platforms
• Provide assistance to customers to enhance customer service and safety
• Assist passengers with special accessibility needs
• Deliver essential messages to passengers via audio or visual means in a timely, clear and proactive manner
• Deliver public announcements and ensure all train and station information is correct, clear and up to date
• Ensure a swift and safe evacuation of premises and trains in the event of fire or other emergency situations
• Control access of staff, contractors, visitors, and other persons in the station, such as back of house areas and safety critical rooms to manage safety of the premises
• Minimum Diploma level of education, preferably Bachelors, in related discipline
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Basic Arabic language skills desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle and resolve conflict
• Good numeracy skills required for the role
• Excellent customer services skills
• Ability to adhere to policies, rules and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions
• Team player, able to support fellow team members and colleagues
• A minimum of two years experience within a front-line environment, delivering customer services in with a metro station or equivalent
• Supervisory experience
• Experience and understanding of dealing with customers and conflict resolution techniques
• Experience of cash handling
