Responsibilities

• Develop and create detailed design plans for various steel structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to analyze, modify, and optimize steel designs for enhanced performance and safety.
• Utilize advanced modeling software to generate accurate 3D models and technical drawings of structures.
• Conduct comprehensive material analysis to determine suitable steel grades and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Review project specifications and requirements to create designs that are fit for purpose.
• Assist in the preparation of project tenders and cost estimates for steel structure projects.
• Coordinate with project managers to align design timelines with project delivery schedules.
• Ensure design compliance with relevant legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Engage with architects and construction teams to seamlessly integrate structural designs.
• Provide technical support and resolve design-related issues during project execution.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends and technological advancements in the steel structure industry.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for all design activities and decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel structure design or related roles.
• Proficient in using design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or Tekla.
• Strong knowledge of steel materials, construction principles, and engineering codes.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and delivering within tight deadlines.
