Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging STEM and robotics curricula for students aged 7-18, incorporating hands-on activities and project-based learning to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Design and implement age-appropriate robotics projects using various platforms like LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, or Arduino, ensuring alignment with educational standards and promoting creativity.
  • Assess student progress through observation, quizzes, and project evaluations, providing constructive feedback and adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
  • Manage classroom resources, including robotics kits, software, and equipment, maintaining an organized and safe learning environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Education) or related discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in STEM principles.
  • Relevant certifications in robotics, coding, or STEM education (e.g., LEGO Education Trainer, VEX Robotics Certified Teacher), showcasing expertise and commitment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably teaching STEM or robotics, highlighting practical classroom experience.
  • Experience in the education industry, with an understanding of curriculum development and pedagogical practices, showcasing an understanding of educational best practices.
