Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Finance
- Drive sales growth, gross profit, and overall profitability through expense control and cost optimization.
- Monitor customer footfall and basket value; implement initiatives to boost sales.
- Manage budgets, approve financial requirements, invoices, and cheques within permitted levels.
- Control wastage, stock variance, and maintain optimal stock holding values.
- Implement cost optimization programs and ensure financial compliance.
Operations
- Maintain optimal stock levels; manage aged and surplus stock using FIFO principles.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with SOPs, ISO, HACCP standards.
- Coordinate with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Talabat) and mall management for smooth operations.
- Oversee maintenance schedules, AMC renewals, and government permissions.
- Conduct market surveys and adopt best practices from competitors.
People
- Motivate and engage employees through recognition programs and team-building activities.
- Manage staff scheduling, annual leave, and performance appraisals.
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs.
- Ensure good living conditions in staff accommodations and foster a positive work environment.
Customer
- Monitor and resolve customer complaints; ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and product quality.
- Promote loyalty programs (e.g., Lulu Happiness) and enhance customer shopping experience.
- Act as brand ambassador; organize CSR activities and community engagement initiatives.
