Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage our painting materials, accessories, and inventory. The ideal candidate should have experience handling stock in a retail or construction-related store and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming paint products, tools, and accessories.
  • Organize and maintain store inventory systematically.
  • Issue materials against delivery notes or requisitions.
  • Keep accurate records of stock movements in Excel or ERP system.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform management for reordering.
  • Ensure proper storage of paints and accessories to avoid damage.
  • Coordinate with sales and delivery teams for smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a storekeeper, preferably in paints/building materials.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and basic accounting.
  • Computer skills (Excel, inventory software).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and handle paint cans and accessories when required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications are a plus).
