Job Description-
Monitor Sales performance against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and communicate to staff.
Monitor and continuously seek to understand the commercial environment. Local trading patterns, competitor activity and market trends in the retail sector and their impact on stores.
Ensure seasonal peaks, troughs and important trading / promotional events are taken account of when preparing forecasts and staff rosters.
Compilation of Various Store Feedback Reports
Sales and Customer Focus
Consider the needs of customers at all times
Implements a high standard of customer focus within the store
Regularly assesses customer service standards within store
Actively seeks ways to achieve or exceed shop sales targets
Ensures all members of team have an understanding of figures and targets to
be achieved Daily / weekly and monthly
Ensures store maintenance budgets are used effectively.
Ensures all Troubleshooting related to Cash handling.
Ensure Updation of Customer Feedback in Navision on daily basis.
Stock Presentation & Management
Liaises with Area / Retail Operations Manager (in absence of Senior StoreManager) to ensure store has the correct stock package and required stock levels to maximize sales potential
Ensures a high standard of visual merchandising and maintenance amongst all staff
Effectively communicates any changes in stock or store layout to all members of the team
Maintaining the back store operation and replenishment of the merchandise
To co-ordinate with the logistics department.
To send the requisition for the goods to Buyers/warehouse
Ensures store portrays the company image in all aspects of personal presentation and adheres to the company dress code as laid out by the Company
Ensures security procedures are adhered to throughout the store e.g. Staff bag checks
Training and development of the subordinates.
Maintains a high standard of security awareness, regarding stock and money, within store.
Market survey and to do price comparison with the competitors
To send various reports regarding cash, sales and inventory to RetailManager and store feedback to the concerned managers.
Ensuring Quarterly Performance Appraisals of Staff along with Ops Team / Area Managers.
To maintain strict levels of confidentiality with regards to all areas of the business particularly commercial information and personal details of employees.
