Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory and Stock Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify food stock deliveries to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with palace standards.
- Organize and store food items in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to the First-In-First-Out method to prevent spoilage.
- Regularly monitor inventory levels and prepare LPOs and submit to procurement department with necessary approvals for replenishment.
- Conduct routine checks to identify and remove expired, damaged, or spoiled items.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
Food Safety and Hygiene
- Follow strict food safety protocols when handling and storing food items.
- Ensure storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers are clean, organized, and maintained at appropriate temperatures.
- Maintain high hygiene standards in compliance with palace policies and food safety regulations.
Administrative and Reporting Tasks
- Maintain updated records of all stock movements, including deliveries, usage, and disposal of expired goods.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to the store manager or designated supervisor.
- Assist in coordinating with external suppliers or vendors to resolve issues related to deliveries or product quality.
General Maintenance and Organization
- Ensure the store is always neat, tidy, and well-organized.
- Monitor and manage equipment used for storage, such as refrigerators and freezers, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a similar role, preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, move, and handle furniture safely and efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize and arrange furniture systematically.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in maintaining inventory records and handling furniture.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of inventory tracking systems or software is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to addressing operational challenges related to storage and movement
