Assist the COO & Global Marketing Director in strategic market planning activities through primary and secondary research for Neopharma in-line and pipeline products.
• Evaluate the market landscape, monitor changes and predict trends in market dynamics and competition. Provide recommendations on marketing strategies and tactic effectiveness and/ or inputs on go to market strategies and other strategic planning initiative.
• Provide an objective market viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of customer and environmental information.
• Partner with sales/ marketing, commercial development, business development, medical/ clinical, research, regulatory, finance, manufacturing, and others.
• Lead primary research activities for creative development process and Branding
• Support strategic decision making with quantitative and qualitative analysis across functional areas to help maximize Neopharma commercial success by establishing him/herself as a strategic thought partner who provides an objective commercial viewpoint based on understanding and analysis of commercial and market information.
• Successfully work with others to create research plans/ methods and budgets and implement secondary and primary market research techniques with defined business impact.
• Manage the research process, investigate key questions, summarize findings and provide information to enable decision making.
• Consolidate views for structured scenario planning and assumptions and lead forecasting efforts for marketing/ sales and supply planning, commercial development and business development.
• Support Life-Cycle and Portfolio Management analytics process with revenue forecasts and commercial assessments.
• Monitor and track Neopharma performance and provide regular updates of any developments

Desired Candidate Profile

10-12 years of experience working in Market Research/ forecasting within the pharmaceutical industry, in-line brand or marketing experience a plus including experience with acute & chronic disease therapeutic areas.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the capability to appropriately define issues, questions and data; to comprehend qualitative and quantitative methods to perform accurate analysis and valuation/ forecasting exercises.
• Ability to creatively think about different problems and devise pragmatic solutions to develop data into actionable information.
• Ability to work well with others and properly manage work with counterpart(s) at Neopharma Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to drive toward consensus.
• Exceptional persuasive written/ verbal communication and presentation skills. Willingness to present the facts and put forth hypothesis in the face of differing opinions.
• Ability to adjust to changing needs within the organization and flexibility to change priorities as needed
• Intellectually curious to research pertinent information to further inform/ educate the commercial team and proactively recommend solutions to answer business questions.
• Demonstrated values-based skills and strong work ethic.
• Ability to travel up to 25% required, including weekends.
• Experience managing quantitative and qualitative primary market research projects with physicians, healthcare provides, patients, practice managers etc.
• Experience with pharmaceutical secondary databases.
• Strong computer skills, notably Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to consolidate and present key findings to relevant parties.
