Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural and architectural drawings from sketches, specifications, and existing designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create and modify 2D and 3D models, incorporating dimensions, materials, and other necessary details.
- Review and analyze existing drawings and specifications to identify potential design flaws, conflicts, or areas for improvement, proactively proposing solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Holds a minimum of 3 years of experience in structural or architectural drafting, demonstrating a solid understanding of construction principles.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with the ability to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
