Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design Structures: Create safe, stable, and efficient structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.

  • Structural Analysis: Perform calculations to assess loads, stresses, and overall structural integrity.

  • Code Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and

  • industry standards.

  • Material Selection: Choose appropriate construction materials based on design and environmental needs.

  • Coordination: Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to integrate structural elements with overall project plans.

  • Site Supervision: Conduct site inspections to verify construction follows design specifications and address any on-site issues.

  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, structural drawings, and specifications for approvals and construction. Problem

  • Solving: Resolve structural challenges during design and construction phases.

  • Safety Assurance: Prioritize safety in all designs and during construction monitoring.

  • Project Support: Assist in scheduling, budgeting, and overall project planning related to structural work.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably with hands-on experience in design, analysis, and construction supervision.

  • Licensing/Certifications: with SOE

  • Dubai Municipality (DM) Structural Engineer License in design.

  • Trakhees Accreditation is a plus

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, structural materials, and construction methods.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct complex calculations and solve design challenges.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of precision and accuracy in designs, ensuring safety and compliance.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address structural issues quickly and efficiently.
