Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems to ensure they meet safety and durability standards, utilizing advanced software like AutoCAD and SAP
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate structural designs seamlessly into overall building plans while adhering to local codes.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed structural reports and documentation that clearly communicate design rationale and compliance with engineering principles.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is mandatory to practice in many jurisdictions.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in structural engineering, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
- Proven track record of successful project management, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
