Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop structural designs for GIS substations (400kV, 220kV, 132kV, 33kV).

Perform structural analysis using software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE or SAP2000.

Collaborate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure design integration.

Review contractor submissions and ensure compliance with TAQA/TRANSCO standards.

Provide technical support during construction and conduct site inspections.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities for design approvals.

Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and HSE requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Master s preferred).

Minimum 7 10 years of experience in substation structural design, preferably with TAQA or TRANSCO projects.

Strong knowledge of UAE building/ACI codes and utility standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools.

Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
