Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structuresDevelop design drawings, calculation sheets, specifications, and technical reportsUtilize structural software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro) for modeling and analysisEnsure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes, etc.)
Review contractor/shop drawings, material submittals, and method statementsConduct site inspections to verify work is carried out according to approved designsProvide technical solutions for structural issues and coordinate with design and project teamsParticipate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings as requiredSupport tendering activities and provide technical input during evaluations
Requirements:
Grade A UPDA / MMUP Certification (mandatory)
Minimum 10 years of experience in structural design and supervisionBachelor s or Master s degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringProficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and other structural design toolsStrong knowledge of international design standards (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode) and Qatar construction guidelinesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsStrong communication and coordination abilities
