Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Structural Site Inspector, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and authorities to support the successful delivery of the project. Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site inspections for structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority requirements
- Attending contractor inspection requests (IRs) and verifying readiness for inspection
- Reviewing workmanship quality, materials, shop drawings, method statements, and QA/QC submittals
- Identifying, reporting, and following up on non-conforming or unsafe works
- Monitoring site safety practices, manpower deployment, productivity, and construction progress
- Coordinating with engineers, inspectors, and contractors to resolve site-related issues
- Maintaining inspection records, NCRs, daily reports, and photographic documentation
- Supporting quality control, safety compliance, and schedule adherence
- Utilizing digital platforms and AI-enabled inspection and QA/QC reporting tools to improve efficiency, traceability, and reporting accuracy
Desired Candidate Profile
This role may be a strong fit if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Structural Site Inspection
Inspection of concrete, steel, foundations, and structural elements with a strong QA/QC focus - Quality Assurance & Compliance
Monitoring structural works against approved standards, drawings, and specifications - BIM & Digital Coordination
Ability to interpret BIM models and coordinate with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams
Candidates with strong inspection expertise who thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary project environments are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- 4 5 years of experience as a Structural Site Inspector on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering is preferred
- Prior experience on UAE projects is required (airport or major infrastructure experience preferred)
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority codes and quality standards, including Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and GCAA
- Proven experience in structural inspections, QA/QC procedures, and reporting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), Navisworks, and MS Office
- Ability to review drawings, method statements, and material submittals

- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
- Detail-oriented approach with effective problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary site environment
- Professional engagement with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
