Job Description

A Structural Inspector plays a critical role in the construction and building industry by ensuring that the structural components of buildings and infrastructure comply with all safety regulations and design specifications. This job involves conducting detailed inspections and assessments of structures such as buildings, bridges, and highways to identify any defects, deterioration, or potential safety hazards. Responsibilities

  • Utilize specialized equipment and tools to conduct accurate and efficient inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and regulatory bodies regarding inspection results.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural inspection or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and structural engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for effective problem-solving and assessments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and consultations.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools, software, and technology relevant to the job.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections simultaneously under tight deadlines.
