Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in reading blueprints, fabricating components from raw steel, and assembling complex structural frameworks in accordance with industry standards. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape structural steel using saws, torches, shears, and other tools.
  
• Weld, grind, and finish metal components to required tolerances.
  
• Assemble fabricated steel structures, beams, columns, and frames.
  
• Operate machinery such as drills, presses, welding equipment, and overhead cranes.
  
• Ensure fabrication work meets quality control standards and project specifications.
  
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  
• Collaborate with engineers, fitters, and site crews to resolve fabrication or installation issues.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience in structural steel fabrication.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.
  
• Strong welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) and metalworking skills.
  
• Familiarity with measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
  
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy steel materials.
  
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
