Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate structural steel components accurately, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Utilize state-of-the-art cutting, welding, and machining equipment to create high-quality steel structures, focusing on precision and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the fabrication process, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to troubleshoot fabrication challenges, proposing solutions that enhance workflow and productivity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with specialized training in welding or metal fabrication from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in structural steel fabrication, showcasing a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Certification in welding processes such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding is highly preferred to ensure quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with industry-specific codes and standards, such as AISC and AWS, demonstrating knowledge of safety and quality regulations.
