Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to accurately fabricate structural steel components.
- Utilize advanced machinery, such as plasma cutters and welding equipment, to shape and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all fabricated components to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to address design challenges and optimize fabrication processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly and safely.
- Implement and adhere to strict safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards and ensure the well-being of all team members.
- Train and mentor junior fabricators, sharing best practices and industry insights to enhance team skills.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of fabrication processes, including time logs and material usage, for project tracking.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field.
