Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage steel erection activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations for structural integrity.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of steel structures, verifying alignment, welding quality, and bolting accuracy to prevent structural failures.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of steel erectors, welders, and other trades, optimizing workflow and resource allocation for timely project completion.
  • Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications, providing guidance to the team and resolving discrepancies to maintain accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field to understand structural principles.
  • Holds a minimum of 5 years of experience in steel structural supervision, demonstrating practical application of knowledge.
  • Certified in relevant welding processes (e.g., AWS, CWB) to ensure quality control and adherence to welding standards.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
