Roles & Responsibilities
Studio Manager Interior Design Studio
A growing high-end interior design studio is seeking an experienced Studio Manager to oversee daily operations, project coordination, and team management within a fast-paced creative environment. This role is ideal for a highly organised and design-focused professional with strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience delivering hospitality and residential interior design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Studio Operations
- Oversee daily studio operations and workflows
- Coordinate resources across design, technical, and administrative teams
- Maintain internal processes, standards, and project protocols
- Project Management
- Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously
- Monitor timelines, deliverables, and team allocations
- Coordinate with designers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Support and guide teams through all project stages
- Facilitate communication between departments
- Assist with workload planning and team performance follow-up
- Client & Consultant Coordination
- Serve as a key coordination contact throughout project delivery
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure design intent and quality are maintained during execution
- Quality Control
- Review design packages and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with studio standards and project requirements
- Support the delivery of high-quality presentations and outputs
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree in Interior Design or a related discipline
- 7 10+ years of experience in interior design, ideally within hospitality projects
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Experience leading or supervising design teams
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong understanding of design detailing and project delivery stages
