Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Efficiently scan and bag groceries, ensuring accuracy and speed to minimize customer wait times.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision, providing correct change and receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, replenishing supplies and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Engage customers in friendly conversation, answering questions about products, promotions, and store layout.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a retail or supermarket environment.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems, with a knack for quick learning of new technology.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
