Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor daily maintenance activities of desalination and distribution water plants.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure full compliance with maintenance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze pumps, motors, and associated equipment to optimize performance and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for water facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts and tools.
- Conduct inspections, implement quality control, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit periodic maintenance reports.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices in water systems maintenance.
- Ensure optimal use of resources including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Support and achieve Emiratization targets in coordination with the relevant division
Desired Candidate Profile
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Water Resources Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience overseeing O&M activities in desalination and water distribution plants.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, and valves.
- Leadership skills to guide teams and enforce safety & quality standards.
- Skilled in maintenance planning, inspections, documentation, and performance reporting.
