Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all mechanical and piping activities on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
  • Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and piping systems, including equipment alignment, pressure testing, and system functionality verification.
  • Supervise a team of mechanical and piping technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment.
  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and permits to work, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as a PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent, demonstrating project management expertise.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical and piping construction or maintenance, showcasing practical industry knowledge.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations, including ASME, API, and relevant codes, ensuring compliance.
