Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key vendors, specializing in engineering components, raw materials, and specialized tooling.
Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring zero production downtime.
Logistics & Distribution: Oversee domestic and international shipping, customs compliance, and warehousing to ensure seamless delivery to our project sites.
Cost Management: Negotiate high-value contracts and lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising on quality standards.
Risk Mitigation: Monitor global market trends and supply chain disruptions to develop robust contingency plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering and Project Management teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or Business.
Experience
5+ years in supply chain or procurement, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
Certifications
CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM certifications are highly desirable..
