Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role & responsibilities
- Design and engineering of MV & HV Switchgear (11kV, 33kV, 132kV) for substation projects.
- Preparation of:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Protection & Control Schematics
- GA Drawings & Layouts
- Cable Schedules
- Interlocking Schemes
- Preparation and review of technical submittals as per DEWA standards.
- Coordination with DEWA for drawing approvals and inspections.
- Technical evaluation of vendor offers and equipment specifications.
- Preparation of BOQ and material take-offs.
- Ensuring compliance with:
- DEWA Regulations
- IEC Standards
- Local Authority Requirements
- Site coordination during installation, testing & commissioning.
- Support during FAT & SAT of switchgear panels.
- Interface coordination with civil, protection, and SCADA teams.
