Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Craft tailored garments by interpreting customer measurements and preferences, ensuring a perfect fit that enhances the client's silhouette.
- Skillfully alter existing garments, employing techniques like hemming, resizing, and mending to restore or enhance the piece's integrity.
- Select appropriate fabrics and materials while advising clients on options that best suit their style and occasion.
- Maintain a well-organized workspace, ensuring tools and machines are in optimal condition for a seamless tailoring process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in tailoring or fashion design is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant tailoring experience in a retail or bespoke environment, showcasing a strong portfolio.
- Proficient in sewing techniques, fabric types, and garment construction, with a keen eye for detail.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus for diverse clientele.
