Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Design and produce garments for various occasions based on client requirements and preferences.
  • Provide expert recommendations on fabrics, colours, and styles.
  • Supervise the tailoring team during design, production, and alterations.
  • Create and refine patterns and designs, from initial concept to final fitting.
  • Ensure all tailoring work meets premium quality standards and family expectations.
  • Maintain and organise fabrics, trims, and materials.
  • Oversee daily workflow, task distribution, and timelines for garment completion.
  • Conduct fittings, manage alterations, and ensure perfect garment finish.
  • Monitor and maintain tailoring machinery and tools in excellent condition.
  • Keep up to date with current fashion trends and techniques.
  • Maintain clear communication between the workshop team and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional tailoring experience, including supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of tailoring, pattern cutting, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
  • Experience managing teams within a private household, couture atelier, or luxury fashion environment.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and highly organised.
  • Up-to-date understanding of global fashion trends and fabrics.
  • Professional appearance and ability to work under pressure.
